Privacy and your
first conversation.

Start with context about your company. Detailed records and privacy requirements are a later discussion with a potential buyer.

What to share with Intronave

For an initial conversation, a high-level overview is enough: what your company does, the kinds of operational records it creates, which systems hold them, and roughly how much history exists.

✓Company and role

Your name, company, position, and business contact information.

✓General record categories

For example, work orders, case histories, transaction records, or process documentation.

×Keep sensitive material out

Do not email customer lists, personal information, raw datasets, confidential documents, credentials, or records you are not authorised to share.

What does anonymisation mean?

It means removing or masking details that could identify a person or company, such as names, contact details and account numbers, so the records describe the work rather than who was involved. Buyers typically do this themselves before using records. Intronave doesn’t handle your data. How well it is done varies, so ask each buyer to explain its process.

What to ask a potential buyer

Intronave makes the introduction; the buyer explains its own review and technical process. Before any detailed data discussion, ask the buyer how the opportunity would work for your business.

Keep control of the decision

Your business reviews the buyer’s proposed scope and terms directly with them. Intronave does not handle the data or negotiate the licence.

Privacy, data protection, employment, and contract requirements depend on the records and jurisdictions involved. This guide is general information, not legal advice. Use your own legal and privacy advisers for a specific proposed licence.
